My favorite feature is the rain delay I am not sure why it was moved in the recent update not that’s ok. It has easy to use features and many of my elderly clients can use it more conveniently than the actual controller on the wall. It’s that simple!Įdit 1: As of release version 2.16, my ESP-TM2 controller now appears to be functioning correctly with respect to the automatic seasonal adjustments pushed out by Rain Bird. The user sets the program time.don’t change that! Adjusted time equals program time multiplied by seasonal adjustment. This is seemingly a simple math problem with the fix being that y’all need to program it so that it doesn’t change the programmed time at all and only changes the adjusted time. I had the impression this was a new problem, but I come to the app reviews and see comments that this same behavior was happening in July of 2020 and here it is November and it still doesn’t work. I called Rain Bird support and had three calls with them. So a zone with a summer run time (100%) of 10 minutes with an auto seasonal adjustment of 50% gets moved down to a runtime of 2 minutes.this repeats each night until the programmed time is eventually down to zero. I have had the WiFi LNK for about two weeks now and I thought I was nuts when the seasonal adjustment was being applied to the programmed time and then applied again to get he adjustment.
